In my postdoc at the University of Idaho, I am working on a side project led by Dr. Daniele Tonina in the Lemhi River, Idaho. The work aims to compare 2-D numerical modeling results based on two different topographic mapping methods: 1) ground-based surveys using an RTK GPS, and 2) a new terrestrial-aquatic LIDAR.
